Even the liberals in the Senate agree that the court decision handed down in California banning the Pledge of Allegiance was ridiculous.

The 99-0 vote, with Sen. Jesse Helms, absent, came less than four hours after the court ruled that the use of the words "under God" violates the Constitution's clause barring establishment of religion.
